Laboratory
ITL ACS (International Test Laboratory Division Automotive Cable Solutions) performs multiple tests on development and serial cables, including the determination of mechanical, electrical and radio frequency properties. Additionally fire testing, environmental simulation and mechanical stress tests are contained in the laboratory scope.
Our quality claim
Before LEONI cables go into series production, they are tested precisely in the laboratory. Both in the development phase and during the release test at the customer's request, the experts test the yard goods under a wide variety of aspects.

Our QC Laboratory PVC
Quality as the degree of fulfillment of requirements, especially in towards customer satisfaction and continuous improvement requires modern test equipment and know-how in the field of QC laboratory PVC to support PVC compounding and also development.
Incoming inspections are done for every raw material delivery to check the relevant product characteristics.
Outgoing inspections are also carried out for every production order in comparison with the costumer agreements and requirements of product characteristics.
Every result of finished measurements is stored digital in the ERP system. This makes statistical analysis easy on a wide base of date to achieve continuous improvement and also could be the basis for decision making while development process.
The QC laboratory PVC is very closely supporting prototype development and optimization of PVC compounding process. Rheological investigations and many other test methods according state to the art in the plastics industry are submitting the portfolio of QC laboratory PVC.
