In future, the transmission distances for electricity in vehicles will be longer. Extreme examples are the so-called mega trucks – combinations of vehicles, which go beyond the usual length limit, may extend up to 25.25 meters and bring a weight of up to 60 tons on the road. In addition, due to the limited space the cable cannot always be installed via the shortest route. This means that the larger the detour, the longer the distance, the greater the probability of losing transmission power.
